From May 29 to 31, I joined the Zero One Hack Supercompute Hackathon hosted by Lumos Student Organisation at the AI Factory Austria AI:AT Coworking Hub in Vienna.
Our team worked on the Industrial track provided by Infineon Technologies. The challenge involved synthetic semiconductor fabrication process-sequence data, where we trained and benchmarked models on the Leonardo supercomputer for next-step prediction, sequence completion, and anomaly detection.
After 36 hours of late nights, debugging, model training, and sleeping on the hard floors of the venue, we won 2nd place in the Industrial track.
The team was Morgan Nihlmar, Ariunzaya Odontugs, Cristian Vortolomei, and me. It was my first time in Vienna, and it was a good first time, since we won something.
